Located in the beautiful highlands of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Perry-Mansfield is the oldest performing arts camp in the US, but I think it may be the oldest in the world actually. Its founding was in 1913. Hundreds of greats in the worlds of dance and theatre have either studied or taught there including Agnes Demille who worked out her dances for Oklahoma at Perry-Mansfield. Other great teacers over the years have included Hanya Holm and Louis Horst. Dustin Hoffman was a student at P-M in his day. |
